My Background
My photography began with black and white portraiture. It is my desire to evoke the audience with a sense of curiosity and wonder, striking a sympathetic chord, both intimate and obscure. I look through the camera as a woman, a mother, a wife, a daughter, and a friend. Understandably, the experiences and the relationships of my life shape my work and probably reveal a part of me that even I don’t understand.
